Welcome to T.L. Moore books

About (Biography)

T.L. Moore was born in Houston, Texas on June 19, 1966. She is the oldest of three children. Her grandparents who she has always adored helped raise her.

T.L has loved writing most of her life and even as a child she remembers sitting in her bedroom for hours writing poems and short stories. When she was in her mid-teens she started having major panic attacks, which started to control her life. Writing was her way to escape from the loneliness of being a prisoner within her own self. She poured herself into her writing at a very young age.

Life can be hard at times and T.L. found this out by the age of five. She experienced sexual abuse as well as mental and physical abuse. This abuse she kept to herself and told no one including her parents and grandparents until she was grown. She now wishes she could somehow go back in time and tell someone, but she made the mistake as so many children do in keeping it to herself. In the second book of the "Ed on my shoulder" series she encourages children to tell someone if they are experiencing abuse of any kind.

T.L. loves the Lord Jesus Christ with everything within herself and she believes he is the one who turned her very tragic childhood around. She takes the pain she suffered for many years and uses what God has given her to reach as many people as she possibly can through her books. Her children’s book series "Ed on my shoulder" is about a redheaded, missing tooth angel sent by God to help children around the world. Each book of the series will cover subjects as: cancer, abuse, loneliness, being bullied, being burned, over or underweight, death, divorce, blind, deaf, and so much more.

T.L. has loved the Lord all of her life, but in spite of this she did not start out writing Christian books. The good Lord led a young child into her life that had cancer: Christi Thomas. This child touched so many people’s lives including one unknown author’s. A whirlwind took place and soon T.L. and her books were on a different pathway.

T.L. writes nothing but Christian books now including books for adults to enjoy too. She has experienced many storms because of the genre she writes and she has been told many times that Christian books simply do not sale; she also has been told to remove the name of Jesus from her books by more than one misled person. She will tell anyone without even blinking an eye that Jesus is her everything and no Jesus, no T.L. Moore!

T.L. will tell you that she feels that some people think being a Christian or even leading a Christian life is boring. Through her books which range  from children’s books to comedy, mystery and romance, she hopes to shed a new light on being a Christian. Being a Christian is the most exciting, rewarding kind of life anyone could ever experience!

T.L. has three books published and many unpublished manuscripts that are waiting in the wings to someday become a book. She is currently working on finding an agent or a publisher and she asks each of you to please pray that this soon will happen. So many doors have slammed in her face throughout the years, but she realizes those were not the doors God wanted for her.

T.L. will keep on keeping on for Jesus as long as she has a breath within her body.

T.L. resides in Pasadena, Texas.

This is a little something that has been on my mind for the past few days that I wanted to share. It may not make any sense and it has not be edited...but I tried. :)

Never retreat never surrender. The walk with God is not always easy
By: T.L. Moore

So many people make the mistake in thinking once you have accepted Jesus that life suddenly becomes “easy street”, when in fact it is the complete opposite. Once someone accepts Jesus Christ into their heart and life you have a big red bulls eye painted right on your forehead. Satan and his army of demons will come after you every chance they get so to make you the baby Christian stumble and fail; even someone who has been a Christian for many years gets attacked, but the difference is we know what is happening and what to do.
We are in a war, literally in a battle against Satan and as in any battle there will be attacks. Satan knows his days are numbered, so he will attack you in ways that will bring you to your knees! However, remember that the Bible states Satan trembles at the sound of the mere mention of Jesus’ name and he must flee! Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world!
Ephesians 6:12: For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
I am not saying God does not answer prayers and that miracles do not happen, but what I am saying we must always be ready to be attacked from the dark one. As long as we are upon this earth, the battle will rage on. The attacks will continue, but as you walk with God you are so very aware and your eyes are open to these attacks and you are prepared to fight in the name of Jesus!
So many people when they start the walk with Christ give up way to soon because they think it is too hard or because they see nothing happening in their lives; but to the contrary great things are happening behind the scene. Okay, think of a soldier in the army or marines, they have to go through basic training before they are prepared for the battlefield. So many people run out in the middle of the battlefield unprepared and soon find themselves waving the white flag of surrender. So many turn away from God because they retreated and some people find it easier not to even believe in God anymore. I repeat we are in a battle here!
God is always with us his children, and he will never forsake us, he is always there right beside us loving us and protecting us. Yes, God does answers prayers and yes God does miracles and yes he wants us to prosper, but we have to hold on and be patient. Isaiah 40:31: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
I have found over the many years of walking with God that I have slowly changed: my thinking, the way I look at life and everything around me, faith has grown tremendously, I look through my spiritual eyes and not my human eyes. A metamorphose has taken place slowly but surely and I have found myself growing stronger in God everyday. Do not misunderstand me here, I have my bad days and sometimes my faith grows weary, but I still keep holding on to Jesus. Read the book of Job and what that man went through, but yet he held onto the word of God even with he was covered over his entire body with boils. Also, remember if you are experiencing attack after attack in your life from Satan, you are doing something so right for God or Satan would not be so threatened by you. Satan does not mess with those he already has in his clutches.
The walk with God is the most rewarding, loving, awesome, relationship one could ever experience! I am going to put this plain and simple here: Do not wimp out, but keep on keeping on and do net let go of the hand of God! You were born to be a warrior, remember this no matter what trials and heartache you are facing; also remember that the battle was won over two thousand years ago when Jesus took the nails for you. Jesus loved you then, and he loves you now and that will never change! Isaiah 59:17:He put on righteousness as a breastplate,
and a helmet of salvation on his head; he put on garments of vengeance for clothing,
and wrapped himself in zeal as a cloak.
We are in a war against Satan here and time is running out. Talk to God everyday, pray to God everyday and walk by faith and not by sight. Hebrews 11:11: For faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Do not give up on God and know the answers you seek are on the way. God believes in you and he does truly love you so very much! John 3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
We are never alone in this war against evil, God is always with us! Keep on keeping on and walk by faith always! Rome was not built in a day and we were not born to run the day we were born, everything takes times and patience.
Jesus loves you very much!! Never retreat, never surrender!! Onward Christian soldiers.
